If you see the Gitosis error log, this guide should help.
I’m trying to get Gitosis to work on my Ubuntu forum (from a Win7 client). It is installed, I can connect to it via SSH, but when I try to click on a new project, I get the following error:
I have since tried to clear and restart my / home / git / directory, but now I get the same error even when I try to resume the gitosis-admin project.
If I debug each of our flags in the config file, I get this:

To add more information – I was just experimenting with Gitolith and got a similar error:

This uses the same user and the same “git” key. I tried to change the directory permissions, but what the experts say didn’t help.

I set up a new git server with gitosis and everything was fine before. For security reasons, I decided to switch the key market to a public one. I generated my key on my computer using this command.
ssh-keygen -t rsa -C "[email protected]"
Then I added the public key to all key directories and included the key in my gitosis.conf file. I applied the changes and posted them to the server. When I went into git making changes to some of my repos, it gave me this error.

Please note that I have a “home” key so far and it works fine. I have a problem with the mac key. Does anyone know how to fix this problem?

Login to ssh -vvvv yourgitserver
to see which key is displayed. The ~ / .ssh / config
file allows you to control which key can be aliased to your remote computer to give different duplicate keys To your computer.
You can also use Gitolite instead. It is actively developed and supported; This is not gitosis.
