Over the past few days, some readers reported that they encountered gpedit.msc while booting Windows 7 Home Basic.
Gpedit.msc (Group Policy Editor) is not included with Windows 7 Home Basic, Starter, and Home Premium. But here’s one way to manually install it. Also can work with Win8 8.1.
Many solution configurations can be configured using the Group Policy Editor (gpedit.msc). But Microsoft has limited this feature of the approach. Windows 7 Home Basic, Starter and Home Edition, Premium and these versions are not installed with the gpedit.msc (Group Editor) policy file installed.
Only the resulting versions of Windows 7 Ultimate (Professional and therefore Enterprise Edition) come with a Group Policy Editor (gpedit) preinstalled.
Core editions do not require this feature to be added, whether hands-free upgrades are enabled or not, until your whole family buys money and upgrades to Win7 Professional, Enterprise, or Ultimate.
However, there is a small tool that installs the required system filess for the Group Policy Editor in Windows 7. You don’t need to worry about which version of Win7 is installed in each edition. This installer works well with Windows 7 and all editions, just as skillfully as Windows 8, Windows and Internet 8.1 users can use this tool.

Problem With Windows 7 (64-bit)
Fans who have installed Windows 7 64-bit (x64) may need additional work if the simple installer prevents them from enabling the Group Policy Editor. Follow these steps:
C: Windows SysWOW64
Copy these 2 folders (GroupPolicy and And grouppolicyusers) to a file (gpedit.msc) and paste the company into:
C: Windows System32
Now open gpedit via RUN Start or the food search box. It will start up without issue.
MMC Failed To Create Snap-in Error
If you find that the MMC is unable to generate a specific snap-in error message when you try to run the gpedit.msc file, you need to fix a neat trick. This error usually occurs when the username in the login window contains more than one word (for example, first name, last name). Even so, you probably won’t be ready to change your username, and you probably won’tnecessarily. All you have to do is follow these delicate steps:
Run setup.file from Fitter, exe, but stop when Finish link appears. This means that you will continue with the configuration until you see the Finish button. Don’t click Finish yet.
C: Windows Temp gpedit
If you have Windows 7 32-bit (x84), go directly to x86.bat, select “Open With” and search for Notepad. Notepad, then drag the x86.bat file into the Notepad window. If you have a personal x64 version of Windows 7, open the specific x64.bat file in Notepad.

When you open the file in Notepad, you will see 6 lines of text in it. find the following line:
