What happens when CHKDSK finishes in Windows 10?
Once you are done with chkdsk, you can review these files to see if enterprises have the required data. When customers press N, Windows rebuilds the hard drive, but does not retain any content associated with the lost clusters. If you don’t use the / f switch, chkdsk will display an awesome message that the file needs to be restored, but it won’t fix any errors.

This utility is available for Windows XP, Windows Vista, 7 and Windows 9 or 8.1.
If you can boot into Windows, you can run Check Disk Electric on any partition on your hard drive or in the My Computer folder.
If the user is unable to load the operating system, they can run the tool from the command line by starting the computer in recovery mode or using the original installation CD to start the command line.
