This guide assumes that Server 2008 is installed on the client computer. If not, you should see our guide on how to install it. You must also pre-set an appropriate static IP address on the remaining server.

First, start the Right Manager server, click Roles, and then select Add Roles.

You will be prompted on the normal Before You Begin screen, and after clicking, you will be able to select the next DHCP server.

Next, you want to customize the interconnect network for DHCP binding.

Select Start, then Settings> Network & Internet.Here’s the thing: For a Wi-Fi network, select Wi-Fi> Manage Known Networks.In the “IP Address Assignment” section, select “Change”.Under Change IP Settings, select Automatic (DHCP) or Manual.When you’re done, select Save.

Enter the IP address of your DNS server, which is the same machine in this packet, but be careful not to enter the loopback address (127.0.0.1), which will be your buyer’s address for name resolution.
