This page shows you how to add the Show Desktop Icon to the Windows 10 taskbar so that you can simply click the star to quickly return to any desktop.
How To Add The Show Desktop Icon To The Windows 10 Taskbar
Step 1. Create A “Show Desktop” Shortcut On Your Desktop
2) Right-click any blank area on the main desktop, select New and select Shortcut.
3) After opening the special “Create Shortcut” wizard, return% windir% explorer type.exe shell ::: 3080F90D-D7AD-11D9-BD98-0000947B0257 in the item field, then click Next.
4) Name the shortcut “Show Desktop” and click “Finish”. Of course, you can give it any other name you can identify.
5) Then you will see “Show Desktop” via a shortcut on your desktop.
Step 2. Change The Current Show Desktop Shortcut Icon
The default Show on Desktop shortcut icon is the same as the File Explorer icon. To make it easier to recognize the Show Desktop technique, you can change the icon associated with it.
1) Right-click on the “Show Desktop” shortcut and open “Properties” from the context menu.
2) Select meOne eye shortcut and click the Change Icon button.
Step 3. Quickly Pin “Show Desktop” To The Taskbar
1) Right-click the “Show Desktop” shortcut and select “Pin to Taskbar” from the context menu.
2) After that, you will see the “Show Desktop” icon on the taskbar. As soon as you click on the icon, Windows 10 will immediately minimize all open windows and immediately display the desktop. Clicking the icon a second time will likely bring back all open kitchen windows.
3) You can remove the Show Desktop shortcut from the desktop if you like. If you remove the desktop shortcut, the “” icon on the desktop in the taskbar will still work correctly.
If someone isn’t too interested in scrolling to the bottom right corner of the current monitor to show the desktop, we’ve made a cool setting to easily add a Show Desktop icon on Quick Launch. panel or somewhere above the system tray.
If you want easyaccess the desktop in Windows 10, 8, 10 or if you’ve probably noticed that clients have moved the show desktop to the bottom right corner of the screen. It can be annoying when you have a shared monitor or even a large monitor.
There are undoubtedly several ways to make the Show Desktop icon more accessible. We’ll go over each of them and you can decide which method is best for you. We show both methods in comparison with Windows 10, but they also work on Windows and 7 8.
How to return the desktop screen icon to its previous position by adding the quick launch bar again

The first way to move the icon on the desktop is usually to add the Lawyer Quick Launch back to the taskbar. The quick launch ad includes a Show Desktop option. Shortly after following the steps from our comment on restoring the Quick Launch shortcut, you should see a Show Desktop button on the left side of the taskbar. If you don’t, this article is also the reason why you might be able to move icons on the Quick Launch bar.
This method kills two birds with one stone by replacing the Windows Quick Launch and desktop icon.
How to pin the desktop screen icon to the taskbar
If you and your family don’t want the Quick Launch to return, users can pin the icon to the taskbar instead. Unfortunately this process is not as easy as simple drag and drop, there is a simple workaround.
Right-click many blank areas on the desktop and select> New Text Document.

The following warning dialog will appear because you are an extension of a shortcut. Click the “Yes” button to change the name and, accordingly, the shortcut.
Right-click the fake .exe file you just created and in the pop-up window, purchase the Pin to taskbar feature”.
Create a new text in a Notepad file or in your preferred text editor and paste the following code into the file for beginners.

Press Ctrl + S to save the file. In the Save As dialog box, navigate to the following folder and make sure your company has selected All Files (* .De *). You will see a “Save As” dropdown menu.

NOTE. If you do not see the AppData file, select the Show hidden programs, folders, and drives check box in the View tab of the Folder Options dialog box.
Enter Show Desktop.scf
in the Prevalent Filename field and click the Save button.
Close Notepad (or your favorite text editor) by clicking the exact X in the upper right corner of the window.
Now let’s change all the properties of the shortcut so that the taskbar is docked. Right click on the show.exe
