We are launching a VMWare View pilot in which we use various HP thin clients that you need to manage with HP Device Manager high 4.1. We have everything installed and everything looks fine, but I can’t get the AD user authentication to work.
In the configuration management window, I have unpacked all the required parameters, and every time I click the test button, I “successfully connect to the LDAP server”. but all AD accounts can login.
When I try to connect for the first time, I get the error “An unknown error occurred while connecting.” If I try to connect immediately, I get the message “This friendly message is already connected or not connected at all.” Log out correctly. Please try again within 1 minute after the error. As a test, I know I entered the wrong credentials.
So this thought seems to be related to AD, so it doesn’t work as expected m. Anyone have any suggestions?
