Thinkpad Error 00192

Hello everyone, this is my very first post. I’ve read a lot here and it looks like your own big community. I tried to specifically look for the problem before posting but couldn’t find an exact match with my problem.

Offered TP 600 2645 on 5nu Ebay. The first few times I visited the site, it started up fine. But now it gives me ERROR 00192. When I run the test, it shows the real motherboard error like this:

Maybe only one of you, Experts 600, can help. But if it’s definitely a card, can I only add one system from the 600E? I researched and the IBM FRU part number also got 10L1711 for myabout TP600. While my particular computer is invaluable, is it FRU compliant? Can I really upgrade? If I could make a 600 motherboard like my 600s, would I have to increase the processor speed as well?

Document 43 has a table of computer error codes. FRU 3810 refers to Monster (38) or System (10) Vista. There are times when the fan does not spin when the system is first turned on due to an error.

HWhen it comes to replacing a 900 motherboard with a 600E board, I have no personal experience. If you look at the shelves, I’m sure someone checked if this works or not. I have several 600Es, I never had 600.

Thanks for the quick response. Hopefully it should be something as simple as a fan. I’ll try digging around to see if I can figure out how to update our own motherboard. E-Bay auction claims the device is compatible but thought it better to ask an expert

Isn’t this a 192 cmos error? I think the supplied CMOS battery is throwing 192 and this is causing the fan to fail. I remember seeing this on a TP pair and solved the problem by replacing the battery and resetting the cmos.
