This will probably get you in trouble if you plan on adding something else to the → Load () event; The above literal code only generates jobs if the page / control does not contain any code afterwards.
If I had to do this, I would wrap the above code in a custom control and place this handle on the pages of interest.

If you try to pelevate with Javascript, or prefer to minify Javascript due to lack of debugging, I prefer this approach:

I can easily view the computer code while debugging, otherwise you might want the scripts to collapse. Bundled for the following imports:
<% @ Import Namespace = "System.Diagnostics"%>
It's also nice to use this Web Essentials Visual Studio extension to bundle / collapse your Javascript files so that it actually only sends one request to the server for your scripts.

How about using a literal and then using #if DEBUG in the code-behind to insert HTML code of textbox to literal? Also, ASP.NET already has direct code blocks, but I'm not sure if they handle both #ifs and statements; they seem to be reserved for the C # compiler.

How to make # if DEBUG works in ASP.NET codeproject?
I mean, even if I change debug = true or false on the web.config, I can still get the result as a request. But when I post the server related code it always returns the start part! no matter if the debug is true or false. Can someone tell me what to do to make it work?

Yours would be pretty easy to ride. You can forget about some of the coolest non-assembly features that come from all the assembly constants, but you certainly have the option to add markup based on the global trust setting.
