Fortect is the world's most popular and effective PC repair tool. It is trusted by millions of people to keep their systems running fast, smooth, and error-free. With its simple user interface and powerful scanning engine, Fortect quickly finds and fixes a broad range of Windows problems - from system instability and security issues to memory management and performance bottlenecks.
This is usually caused by one of the related issues: either Windows has turned off your noise, or a device that doesn’t have your computer installed. I would argue that the most recent correct device drivers are installed, so Windows cannot “talk” to the device.
If, when we hover over the sound icon, we see that the sound output device is not installed, the sound issue is most likely caused by one of these issues. So, there are three repair methods that have helped other users. You may not have to probeat them all; Just start at the top and work your way down.
- Sound automatically updates device drivers.
- Manually uninstall and reinstall new device drivers.
- Activate the device again.

Driver Easy automatically detects your personal system and finds the correct drivers to use it.
