Our QA team uses the Toontown rewrite system tested on Catalina and Big Sur on Intel-based Macs as well as Apple Silicon Macs. If you are using Mac Launcher before August 2019, be sure to download the latest Launcher by clicking the Play Now button above!
Apple made it easier to migrate to macOS later in Catalina, which affected several games, including Toontown Rewrited. User consent is now required to audit records, and so while Apple made this change to protect user privacy, rest assured some of us will NOT be logged Every keystroke you press. The game must display your input so that we can transmit your keystrokes to control the game with which they are associated.
So that you can play Toontown Rewrited with this new privacy policy, please follow the instructions below to add Toontown Rewrited to the macOS Login Monitor service exceptions list. If you don’t add the most important game to this list, the game will crash when you try to play it.

Will Toontown Rewrited work on Macs with Apple Silicon processors?
Toontown Rewrited for Mac is currently programmed on Intel-based Macs and will naturally run on those Macs. A
Apple introduced a technology called Rosetta 2 in the Apple Silicon Mac running macOS 11.0, which allows Intel to rewrite Mac applications like Toontown that run on Apple Silicon Macs only through interpretation. It will remain in use until the smartphone app is updated to work with Apple Silicon.
