There are four different versions of the K-Lite Codec Pack. Moving from a very small package that isholds only the most important decoders per larger package. Global variants between additional variants can be found in 8.1 / 10. Older versions also with XP.
Packages contain both 32-bit and 64-bit codecs, so they work fine with these x86 and x64 flavors of Windows!

This form of codec is used by some YouTube editing / encoding applications to work with computer AVI data. For example VirtualDub. These
codecs are probably not used or required for video playback.
Important Note: The K-Lite Codec Pack does not support the import capabilities of professional YouTube editors such as Vegas Movie Studio and Adobe Premiere.Applications that often import only a small set of file-based printers and do not support the design and style of the codecs included in most codec packs (DirectShow / VFW). Modern publishers rarely use their own internal codecs, or only encourage external codecs like the Media Foundation.

Important note. Also, the above filters are not installed by default. We also do not recommend using these traditional filters. They are found only in a small group of people who have every reason to use them. We strongly recommend using the standard attachments included in the kit. It is better.
Important Note: All the additional features included in Mega are unlikely to be useful to a small group of users. It does not provide playback functionality for many additional or audio-video formats. If you are only interested in reading, then the full version will suit you.
