Here are some simple steps that might help you fix lexmark e120 error messages.

Description Of The Problem:
on the E120 the ready indicator (!) lights up. This presents the user with some type of engagement message.
Toner on E120n in low light () will light up (a lot of toner!)
NOTE. If you have the Local Printer Setting Utility installed on your computer, you may also receive an error message there.
Initial Diagnosis:
- If the Local Printer Setup Utility is running on your computer, first check that it usually indicates the cartridge problem the printer is currently experiencing. If your computer does not detect a conceptual problem with the printer, you can use the printer operator control panel to find out what the problem is.
- Icon! light is usually the first warning message. Quickly press the survival button () to view the current secondary lighting sequence.
- , if the problem has always been with the toner cartridge, the second indicator on will go out three times, flash gif “> three times , pause, continue with this pattern.
NOTE.
Any other secondary light pattern indicates a unique problem with the printer. For more information, see the user guide for your printer.
- If most of the secondary lights report a cartridge failure, double-click to quickly display the third level sequence light … ! The light starts flashing.
- If everyone! blinks once, stops and repeats the actual pattern, a defective 31 toner cartridge plus a missing cartridge is displayed.
- If! blinks twice, stops and repeats, 32 is displayed Unsupported toner cartridge error.
- If! The light blinks several times, stops and repeats this pattern, the printer does show correct cartridge replacement 33 or “Invalid refueling” error. For more information, see the user guide for your printer.

If the Local Printer Setup Utility is running on your computer, first check to see if it also points to the exact cartridge problem for that particular printer. If the printer error message is not displayed on the press on the computer, quickly double-click the button in the printer header to easily experiment with the secondary sequence.

- Turn off the printer.
- Open the front of this cover.
- Put the toner back into the cartridge. Make sure the toner cartridge is inserted correctly.

- If this prinThe ter goes into ready state, check again if you are printing. If the problem persists when you turn on the printer, or if it comes back quickly, mainly because you are trying to print, try turning off the new printer again.
- Pull the toner cartridge out of the printer again.
- Buy a printer without a toner cartridge. Make sure there is no paper inside that might prevent the laser toner cartridge from sliding completely. Remove any paper or other obstructions you find.
- Open the back door for all printers.
- Remove the PC kit. Check your computer for damage to the kit.
- After removing the PC kit, inspect the rear of the printer. Make sure there is no paper. Remove a few papers or other obstructions someone finds.
- Reinstall the computer and toner cartridge. Make sure everyone is fully seated.
- Close the front and rear doors of the printer. Make sure the door is completely closed.
- Turn on the printer. When Pthe printer is ready, try personalizing your brand again.
- If the error persists when you turn on the printer, or occurs once every time you try to print, turn off the printer and replace the compatible toner cartridge.

32 Unsupported printer toner cartridge, 33 Replace cartridge or invalid refill error
These indicate errors indicating that an incompatible, refilled, or third-party toner cartridge is installed. First, make sure the following applies:
- Typically, you use a Lexmark brand inkjet toner cartridge. If this issue is due to a third-party cartridge, even if it worked in the past, you need to return it.
- The toner cartridge is not refilled or recycled. Refilled toner cartridges are often missedAre kept and cause this error when inserting the capsule. To correct these errors, you must replace the refilled / remanufactured toner cartridge with a genuine Lexmark toner cartridge.
If the previous conditions are correct, do the following:
- Turn off the right printer.
- Open the front of the cover.
- Replace the toner cartridge in the printer if the situation allows:
- Try using a different Lexmark toner cartridge if you only have one.
- If it is a recycled Lexmark brand toner cartridge and you kept the old one, reinstall the old cartridge that you removed when you installed the new toner cartridge.
- Install a working toner cartridge from another printer in the same drive, E120 or E120n.
- Turn on the printer. If the product falls asleep, check the pressure again.

The number 42, however, indicates that the toner cartridge was usually manufactured for a completely different geographic region than the region of the printer.

How To: Completely restart the Lexmark E120 drum. With the printer door open with the drum unit and toner open, press and hold the CANCEL (X) button anywhere until the lights flash, then release it. Close the front door. A warning is displayed and the counter is reset.
