The Visual C ++ Redistributable Installs the Microsoft C and C ++ Runtime Libraries (MSVC). Libraries. Typically, if your application uses these libraries, another Microsoft Visual C ++ Redistributable Package must be installed on the target system before installing your application. Understanding the architecture of the redistributable package should match the architecture of your target application. Redistributable. We recommend that everyone obtain the latest redistributable version for their version of Visual Studio, other than those listed below.
