I ran into errors when using the BCP command to transfer data from an e-source to a data report table.
I was a real BCP executing the following command from SSMS using the @str xp_cmdshell extended stored procedure:

During direct research on the J’ai network, I found that I was unable to provide a database name, hence the specific “Invalid Object Name” error. What corruption stupid 🙂
So there are two ways to specify the database name for inline queries.
1. First, by adding a prefix to the database name when working with the select statement.
2. Second, flag using -d with the database name.
When I saw that there were many peopleand encounter the same error, there was no correct answer. So I thought about posting it here.
conn <- dbConnect(odbc::odbc(), Driver stands for "SQL Server" Servers = "...", Database = "AdventureWorks2012")
The default ODBC driver is definitely the AdventureWorks2012 driver. I can pretty much see all the research and for example that this code works without any problems:
What does invalid object name mean in SQL?
dbGetQuery(conn, "SELECT TOP 10 * FROM Person.Person")
dbReadTable(conn, "Person.Person")
error: 'select * FROM "Person.Person"' nanodbc/nanodbc.Cpp:1587:42s02:[microsoft][odbc sql server]Invalid driver][SQL object expression 'Person.Person'.
data <- tbl(conn, "Person.Person")
How do I fix SQL Server Error 17?
If the server's firewall normally blocks all incoming connections, check the firewall settings in the server's control panel.Check with SQL setup tools whether server TCP/IP and Named Enabled are channels or not.
Error: 'SELECT *FROM "Face. Face" "zzz12"WHERE like (0 1)' equals nanodbc/nanodbc.42S02: cpp:1587: SQL [microsoft][odbc Server driver][server name]Invalid SQL object 'Person.Person'.
What's more, I'm puzzled WHERE (0 about 1)
:= I don't know where this came from!!!
What is MSG 208 SQL Server?
Here is the error message returned: Msg 208, Level 16, State 1, Line 1. Invalid subject name 'ENG_PREP'. Well, it simply means that the database you are querying against does not have an "ENG_PREP" table.
(1) The table exists in the new database.(2) the information qualified with the correct scheme.(3) I get access to baDefault data by using ODBC AdventureWorks2012.
>tableList <- dbListTables(conn)> Table Lists [1] "AWBuildVersion" [2] "Database log" [3] "Deletion Example" [4] Employee Sales
Why does SQL say invalid object name?
You are getting "Invalid idea name" when you try to run a SQL theme or add a new database user to an MSSQL database. Solution This is undoubtedly the reason why you need to explicitly specify the schema name in the tablename property when starting with SQL Server 2005. For example, instead of "tableCustomers" enter "admin.
