I have a problem with Outlook – one of the tips that told me to start Outlook from “Get it” with the / safe switch and checkpoint. However, I work in a corporate environment and the Run command is disabled for us.
Is there any other way to fix Outlook problems or go to Safe Mode, should I call my IT department?

When something goes wrong with Outlook, we often advise fans to run Outlook in safe mode or use the / safe switch. This will load Outlook without most of the customization files and also no add-ons loaded. If Outlook works fine in Safe Mode, the problem is that you have add-ins or preference files.
You can use any of these methods when you start Outlook with the line descriptor switch:
- Hold down the Ctrl key and click the Outlook shortcut.
- If you are using Vista or Windows, type Outlook.exe / safe in the Start Search box on the Start menu, and then type logs.
- In Windows 8, press the Windows key to return to the Start screen. Type outlook.exe / safe if desired.
- If you execute…. is still displayed on the Start menu (in any version of Windows), click it, type outlook.exe / safe above the Open box, and then click OK.
- While holding this Windows key, press R, then type perspective .exe / safe in the Open box andalways click OK.
In most cases, all you have to do is type outlook. or outlook.exe, but unfortunately Windows sometimes complains that it cannot find the file. In this case, try using the full path to Outlook.
Typically, the default location is Files Microsoft c: program Office OfficeXX, where XX is your version number. You can navigate to it or find a specific file path using the Start Quick Link. To do this, right-click the Outlook shortcut on the Quick Access Toolbar and select Properties. The default transformation is you / recycle, you can override this and / safely, click Apply, then double click our custom shortcut to launch it (leave discussion open). After opening Outlook, change Safe Recycle to and click OK.
If Outlook does not close properly, check the Processes tab in Task Manager to make sure it is not running. You can open the Task Manager by clicking the Windows taskbar and selecting Task Manager.

Solution:
If you are using an MSI-based installation, which is usually associated with Outlook 2016 or earlier, you can configure Microsoft Update to check for Office updates.
If you have a Click-to-Run customization option based on Outlook 2013, Outlook 2016, Outlook 2019, or Microsoft Then 365 functionality, you can manually check for updates using the Use Update Options button that is displayed. by going to the “File” -> “Account Management” menu in Outlook. Did It Work For Everyone?
Was Outlook working correctly the last time you used it? ? If so, you can most likely skip this solution. If This has undoubtedly worked before, or if this is your first time starting Outlook, you may have misconfigured your email account. A common mistake is choosing an Exchange account when choosing an IMAP or pop3 account.
Solution.
At this point, it is often easier to recreate your personal email profile using the Control Panel Mail applet. When recreating your email data, make sure you are using the correct device settings provided by your ISP or co-administrator email address. Will Outlook Still Work For Other Users On Someone Else’s Computer?
If you are sharing this computer with another user, you can ask that other member to sign in and see if Outlook can still work for them. If you are the only specific person on this computer, you can add another useron Windows, for testing purposes only, using the User Accounts applet in Control Panel or in the Clients section of the Settings app. On Windows 10.
Solution:
If this also doesn’t work for another user connected to the computer, the problem is most likely due to a faulty add-in or a corrupted Outlook / Office installation.

Safe Mode
If Outlook is working fine, has saved working hours, and nothing has changed in your account settings, the first step is to make sure that Safe Mode tasks are running correctly. Starting Outlook in Safe Mode prevents some or all of the add-ins from loading, prevents multiple preference files from loading, and disables the Reading Pane.
To start Outlook in safe mode, you need to start Outlook using the most important button “7” secure “Start->”;

If Outlook works fine in Safe Mode, your problem is most likely related to your add-ins or customization files. Restore my Outlook desktop client: Start >> Control Panel >> Programs >> Programs and Features. Select the Office package you want to save and click Change. Select “Quick Repair” or “Online Repair”.
