Vista Prohibits Various Ways To Restore Access To The Registry

I am using your own Windows 7 Home Premium system upgraded from Vista. A few weeks ago, when I tried to install Symantec Network Access Control, I ran into problems. then I am left with reading attempts and many fixes. There was no receptionist. My current problem is that VCRedist_x64.exe cannot be installed even when the registry connection is denied. Some of the steps I’ve tried are from Mark Michaelis’s blog. This includes performance from safe mode. I also ran secedit / cfg / configure% windir% inf defltbase.inf / db defltbase.sdb / verbose / area REGKEYS. I still can’t get around the error. The secedit log contains errors fromkaza available for machine software microsoft. sure how they can behave. I see that Regedit is using regedit to determine which keys / subkeys are having the problem …

In advance … I look forward to every new insight into my thoughts and specific questions.
There must be some way to disable all registry security just long enough to screw things up …

I am using Windows Home Premium system upgraded to Vista. None worked. My current problem is that VCRedist_x64.exe cannot be installed even though registry access is denied. Some of the actions I have taken are taken from the blog of Mark Michaelis. This performance includes from safe mode. I also ran secedit / cfg / configure% windir% inf defltbase.inf / db defltbase.sdb / verbose / area REGKEYS. I still can’t get around the error if I believe that secedit contains access denied errors suitable for machine software microsoft. sure how well they can get along. I can use Regedit to indicate which keys / subkeys are having the problem … but so far none of the reset to zero properties / permissions are working
