Does Norton still work after subscription expires?
Policy modification. Previously, Norton continued to work after canceling the subscription. However, any version of Norton Antivirus released in 2007 will be deactivated on the day you increase your subscription and will not provide any protection. The only way to fix this is to pay for the renewal.
I became a computer scientist in my, so to speak, beaten family, and therefore I am responsible for the digital health of a dozen computer systems and several dozen people. This is usually a big responsibility. Because many computers come with McAfee and various other PC software. Some ignored my opinion and downloaded free antivirus software. It may be a coincidence, but each of them (about 5-6 computers with each of them) got infected with a virus. On computers that have installed Norton since 2004, I cannotthere have been cases suggesting the presence of the virus. The endless discounts are too great, which often reduce the price of software for almost nothing. My advice is clear: Norton is the best.

When I first bought a computer about 3 years ago, Norton products were always recommended. And now I have been using only Norton products for 3 years. So when I got a new version of their antivirus prosoftware in 2004, I thought the overall quality would be the same as the add-ons. LYING !!! This program is terrible. It is never properly installed in the first place. Each time you download a new program to your computer, it is assumed that you restart your computer and then display any “Information Wizard” that activates the program. This “master” should not appear and therefore was never displayed in its entirety. The program was installed halfway through while I was using path # to access it. Secondly, he spread my unstable system. I’ve had uninterruptible power supplies, crashes, lots of fatal system errors. Norton’s is expected to invest several more weeks in quality assurance for this program. But I feel like they were in a rush to sell it. After all, this program is a unique resource. It is so large, with redundant features, that it would consume a lot of resources if older versions ran smoothly and unobtrusively. I am very, VERY disappointed with this program. When I buy a great antivirus, I expectI give that he will at least do what he is ultimately supposed to do and go unnoticed in proven experience. It didn’t work. The result is a consistent program that effectively blocks viruses. Installation: Installing with Norton 2004 Antivirus is as easy as it is easy. With the exception oferrors, the program will install, at which point you will be prompted to register with Symantec, which I sometimes recommend because they have installed this special virus signature subscription program that is valid for one year. Technical note. A virus signature is the final file that contains information that antivirus support needs to protect against viruses and clean up unhealthy files. Without an updated file signature, the new antivirus will soon become obsolete. Symantec continues to upload enhanced signature files to Norton Antivirus 2004 through Live Update through a subscription that is part of the program. However, the service usually lasts only one year and must be renewed – of course, for a fee. Users like me who use Norton Internet Security 2003 (included with Norton Antivirus 2003) will find that these programs also work with Norton Antivirus 2007.
