I spoke to Roxio with Dell XPS support. Roxio says this is actually a bug that Dell needs to fix. According to Dell, this is a bug that Roxio often needs to fix.

This is my newest first Dell computer. I thought I bought an approved premium system, but during the first 2-3 weeks out of 2-3 when I had a computer, I probably spent 5-8 hours on the phone with help and support. Dell Support to find out if this is a problem vs built-in audio problems!
