Backup And Restore
Backup
- Click Applications in the menu.
- Click “Files”.
- Open the main drop-down menu.
- Select phone.on

- You may need help selecting “Advanced” at first.
- Click “Move”.
- Click Select All, also known as Tap, to select each folder or piece of information you want to move or copy.
- Click “Move”.

Restore
- From the regular apps menu.
- Click “Files”.
- Click the dropdown menu.
- Select a memory card. Top

Reset Your Device
A master reset restores the original factory settings and can erase your personal data on the internal memory, such as downloads, pictures, ringtones, apps, contact lenses, and voice messages. Numbers stored on the SIM card or SD card are not deleted.
Master reset from settings menu
- Data is backed up primarily to internal memory.
- Click “Settings” in the menu.
- Scroll to click and reset.
- Click Reset Master.
- Enter your password.
Note. If you do not need to create a password for this connection, you must create one now. Backlog password: 00000000. - Click “Confirm”.
- When nRe-enter and confirm your password if necessary.
- Click Yes.
Master reset using PC keys
If the menus on your device are frozen and also unresponsive, you can reset using your computer’s hardware keys.
- Store all data in read memory.
- Remove the battery from the device.
- Remove the SIM card from the device.
- Do not insert a SIM card into the device.
- Be sure to insert the battery into the back of the device.
- Turn on the device from behind.
- On the home screen, make sure T-Mobile is not on the home screen.
- Open a QWERTY keyboard.
- Enter Samsung in E2P custom reset code:
Memory And SIM Cards
SIM card
- Lift up the back cover to remove it.
- Insert the battery yourself, aligning the gold contacts on the top of the battery so that the gold inside connects to the phone.
- Put the battery back in place.
- Precisely press the back cover of the phone until it clicks.
- Precisely press the back cover of the phone until it clicks.
Supplement
- Raise sunbid to remove it.
- Remove the battery by sliding it out of the compartment.
- Turn the SIM card over so that the gold contacts are facing down and the barbed end is next to you. Insert the SIM card directly into the SIM card holder.
- Insert the battery so that the gold contacts on the solar array align with the gold contacts on the home phone. Lower the battery into place.
- Press the back of the phone again until it clicks into place.

- Lift up the back cover to remove it.
- Insert the card with the phone line upside down and the Memory Friends card facing down.
- Push the card through most of the slot until it clicks into place.

Network Settings
Change group
- Open site type.
- Dial *#6984125*#
- Select Net call and settings.
- Select the network mode.
- Select GSM 850/1900.
- Press Select.

- In the menu, click “Settings”.
- Scroll, type and select network.

Enable/Disable Data Roaming
- In your Tap plan, select Settings
- Scroll down to the Input and Application Settings section.
- Click “Data roaming”.
- Click Enable or Disable.
- Click Save.
