History: We develop AutoCAD and Revit plugins that connect web applications with Lot software. In plugins, we use the EO web browser component to display wide content. There can be multiple plug-ins between different EOs in versions of the same AutoCAD/Revit runtime, so we use certain EO versions directly from the GAC.

Problem. However, there is a (new?) entry in the

AutoCAD page

. This caused the EO web browser component to fail to initialize the employee process. This only happens when loading a plugin with newer EO DLLs before loading a plugin with older EO DLLs. In this case, if the first one is loaded first, both versions will be successfully loaded and will work in the application as expected, similar to the session in the image below (see link). This issue cannot be reproduced on the Revit side, just like in the test version. EO DLL behaves differently in different environments for one or two reasons.

More information. We currently create eowp.exe with InitWorkerProcessExecutable. , this also happens when using O.Base.Runtime.EnableEOWP=true (or a combination).

Please help us resolve this issue. This now prevents us from updating the EO component in AutoCAD Mentorship and results in many unnecessary support calls. What does error code 87 mean?
