Over the past week, some users have reported a BIOS v3000 update.
Approved: Fortect
If the PC is still using the same drive as XP, execution will fail if the PC is connected and passes the POST (Power On Self Test) phase to start Windows. and if so, it will restart.
To check the disk, we need to do the following:
1) Press the Esc key several times per second, even when restarting the laptop. DO NOT hold that particular key, press it over and over.
2) Finally, you will see the HP Boot Menu, which looks like the image below …
3) Press the function key to test the hardware product (usually F2) and let it work.
