Today’s tutorial was written to help you if you receive a Win32-Physicalmedia-C # error code.
- 7 minutes to read.
The Win32_PhysicalMedia classification refers to any type of documentation or computer storage media such as tapes, CDs, etc. To preserve media properties in the CD-ROM drive when it is writable, select Win32_CDROMDrive and the Capabilities property.
The following syntax is greatly simplified by the Managed Object Format Directive (MOF) and contains all inherited functionality. Properties are listed alphabetically, not MOF order.

Capacity
-
-
Data type: uint64
-
Access type: read-only
-
Qualifiers: units (“bytes”)
The number of bytes that can be read by this component of the physical media for writing. This property does not apply to cleaning products or paper media. Data compression should not be assumed as it will increase the specific value of this property. In the case of tapes, it should be assumed that some media do not have file marks on the recorded space.
For more information on using uint64 opinion scripts, see Scripting in WMI .

Data type: boolean p>
-
Read-only access
Type:
If TRUE, the physical media is used for cleaning up, not for storing data.

CreationClassName
-
-
Data type: character string
-
Access type: read-only
The name of the class or subclass used to create the instance. When implemented with other key properties of this complexity, CreationClassName allows all instances of that college and its subclasses to be accurately identified.

This property is often inherited from CIM_PhysicalMedia .
-
-
HotSwap Compatible
-
-
Data type: boolean
-
Access type: read-only
If TRUE, this physical media component can be used with a physically different but equivalent component as long as the packet is full. For example, a fan for a component could potentially be designed hot-swappable. All hot plug products are inherently completely removable and interchangeable.
This property is obtained through training CIM_PhysicalMedia .

-
Access type: read-only
Type:
If the object existed. This property does not require a large value to indicate that the object can be set.
This property is inherited from CIM_PhysicalMedia .

Data type: character string
-
Access type: read-only
The name of the organization responsible for writing the article. It could be any of our entities that manipulate an element, but this is not necessarily a problem as this information is often contained in the Vendor property.
