Get Windows Update Agent Automatically
Enable automatic updates. Follow these steps depending on the version of Windows you are using.
Windows 8.1, probably Windows 8
Open Windows Update, for example by dragging the right edge of the movie screen (or, if using a mouse, pointing to the lower right corner of the screen and / or moving the pointer up from the mouse), or click Settings, tap or click Control Panel. and then tap or click Windows Update.
Tap or click Change Settings.
In the “Important Updates” section, selectCheck the “Install updates automatically” option.
Under Recommended Updates, select the Send me recommended updates for the same trip when I receive critical updates check box. Also select OK.

How do I update WUA?
The user can manually update WUA to the current version by selecting Check for Updates in the Windows Update Control Panel and then accepting the displayed automatic update. Alternatively, you can update the WUA programmatically.
Restart the Windows Update service. To do this, follow these steps:
Press Windows logo key + R to open the Run window.
Type services.msc in the Run box and press Enter.
In the Service Management Console, right-click Windows Update and select Stop. If you have Windows XP, right-click Automatic Updates and select Stop.
When the update window completes, right-click the Update Window and select Start. If you are probably using Windows XP, clickRight-click Updates, Automatic, and then select Start as the result.
Wait for the update windows to start, then check if the Windows Update Agent is updated.
