In some cases, your computer may display an error code indicating that the services are in Windows XP Safe Mode. There can be several reasons for this problem. Turn on the computer.When the first screen appears, press the F8 key several times.From this Windows menu, select Safe Mode and press ENTER to access additional options.Click Admin and enter your password (if applicable).

Press F8 Before Windows XP Freezes
Just before the Windows XP splash screen shown above appears, press F8 to display the Windows Advanced Options Menu .
Select An Option For Windows XP Safe Mode
You should now see the Windows Advanced Settings menu screen. If not, you may have missed the opportunity to press F8 in step 1 and Windows XP will now start normally, if possible. If so, just restart your computer and try again to get your faulty F8.
There are three levels of Windows XP Safe Mode that you can easily access:
- Safe Mode is a workaround and generally the best solution. This mode loads only the actual minimal processes to start Windows.
- Safe Mode with Networking. This option includesIt contains essentially the same processes as Safe Mode, but also includes those that allow you to work with Windows network procedures. This is the case when you may need to access the online world or your local network during troubleshooting.
- Safe Mode Command Line Command: This safe mode option loads the least number of processes, but provides access to the command line . Use the arrow keys on your keyboard to highlight Safe Mode or Safe Mode from the Web and press Enter.

Wait For Windows XP Files To Load
The minimum system files required to run Windows XP will now be loaded. Each completed file will be displayed on the screen.
If Safe Mode is stuck in this video window, document that the latest Windows file is full and then search Lifewire or other areas on the Internet for troubleshooting tips.
There is usually something to do here, but this type of screen can be a good place to start troubleshooting if your computer is having very serious problems and Safe Mode does not load all the time.
Log In With An Administrator Account
To use Safe Mode, you must be logged in with an officer or owner account.
On the PC shown above, some of our personal Tim accounts, as well as the built-in Administrator account, have administrator rights so anyone can enter Safe Mode.
If you are not sure if kaany of your personal administrator rights accounts, select an administrator account and provide a password.
Switch To Windows XP Safe Mode
If the above “Windows is in Safe Mode” dialog box is an abbreviation, select “Yes” to enter Safe Mode.
Make The Necessary Changes In Windows XP Safe Mode
Make the necessary changes, and then restart your computer . In Windows XP, if there are no issues preventing this from happening, the computer should boot normally after restarting.

Find the message. Click on the one that causes the CD to boot.Press any integral button to boot the computer while holding the Windows CD with your hands. If you do not verify the key, your computer will continue to boot successfully with the Windows XP installation, which is probably currently installed on your hard drive.
Click the Boot tab and check the Secure Boot box. To apply the new settings normally and close the System Configuration window, click the Minimum Custom radio button in the Secure Boot section, then click Apply and OK.
