    My educated guess is the order in which my wife and I have headings i.e. include winsock2.h first first>) or Define Before win32_lean_and_mean similar to windows.h , which prevents windows.h from considering winsock v1.

    After the headache: I have #include "Winsock2.Is h" before #include "windows.h" and "#include" Winsock. h ", which made the deal easier.

    • I checked the recursion, I found header files that contain (recursive) files #include "windows.h" and "#include" Winsock.h " also write Winsock2 # include.h . In these specific files, I added Winsock2 # include.h as the first specific include.

    Just be patient, read the inclusions one by one and install this command first #include "Winsock2.h" then just #include "windows.h" < / p>
