If you get the error wp-4v while troubleshooting, this blog post is here to help you.
Watts Premier uses information technology to make it easier for you to find a solution to your problem. Find the problem you are facing here and we will go over it step by step. If you cannot find this fact, you can contact us at 1-800-752-5582 and write to us at WeCare @ WattsWater at.com and we can get back to you as soon as possible.
If you have a low water head, this will most likely result in low / slow water production. Make sure the water supply is on and the water supply tap is almost open. To check the standard pressure of your tap water, you will need a pressure meter (water tester). Also, if you are using tap water, contact * your water company and inquire about the average water pressure in your area. The recommended one-way water pressure is 60 psi, but you must provide at least 30 psi. Premier sells several different booster pumps, if the pressure isThe weather at home was low.
* Note. This is a rough estimate, not the accuracy of your unique focus. If after further testing your website still has problems, you should check the water pressure with any water meter. With pipes you can
Any ripples will result in low or slow water production. Make sure all pipes are as straight as possible. Replace the hose if necessary.
If you have a missing or broken stream limiter, you need to make sure the game still exists and has not been removed. Otherwise, you will need something that it can replace.
Step 1. Close the ball and water inlet valve.
Step 3 – Open the reverse osmosis valve to unload the system.
Step 3 – Remove the wall from the device.
Step 4 – When you no longer hear water flowing through the drain, remove the red drain line from the membrane body and look at the end of the hose.
Problem 1. If the flow restrictor is damaged or missing, users need to replace it.
Damaged ASOV (automatic shut-off valve) moIt can lead to low / slow water production as it is designed to prevent the reservoir from filling up. Before starting the asov test (check the air pressure in the cylinder) and therefore (check if the flow restrictor is installed). If the reservoir and flow restrictor fit together well, follow these steps to test your new ASOV. If the tank and limiter are working successfully, perform one of the following human tests.
Step 1. Shut off the water supply to the system.
Second step – Open reverse osmosis until the valve of my tank is completely empty.
Step 3 – Remove the blue hose from the tank to place it in the fluid measuring cup.
Step 4 – Turn on the newly supplied water supply. You should see water flowing through the blue tube.
Step 5 – Collect moisture for 1 minute, then immediately turn off the water supply.
Note. You should collect the amount of precious water below, depending on the size of the membrane that you plan to install in your system.
MeMbrana 24 GPD – If you’ve got 2-6 ounces of water your ASOV is working fine.
Membrane 50 GPD – If you have 4-6 ounces of water, each ASOV works fine.
Problem 1. Even though your water collection rate is less than your membrane, this is an indicator that you need to replace the filter and / or membrane.
Problem 2 – If you are recovering more than your water membrane, you may need to replace the ASOV (WP500069).
Step 10 – Connect the blue hose to the current tank and turn on the tap water.
Note. The amount may vary depending on the pressure of the water used for single use. Amounts quoted are based on 60 psi recommended water inlet pressure. Check your system for the next 24 hours to make sure there are no leaks.
If there is air in the system, this can lead to the formation of milk water. This is the normal frequency when the reverse osmosis system is first started. This milky appearance disappears with normal use, by volumeUsually within 2 weeks. If this happens again after replacing the filter, empty the device 1-2 times.
To check if the water pressure is low or just barely, the last step-by-step instructions must be followed (what can cause low / slow water production?). The tube can
Any undulating reason for low / slow water production. Make sure all hoses are stretched to their maximum. Replace the hose if necessary.
If the water pressure is high, make sure the water inlet pressure does not exceed 100 psi. inch. When it comes to relieving pressure on a valve, a relief may often be required.
To check if the air pressure in the tank is high or low, you will probably need to gracefully follow the step-by-step instructions (what causes low / slow water production?).
To check for a missing or faulty flow restrictor. Be sure to follow the step by step instructions on the other side (what could cause low / slow water production?).
DamageASOV (Automatic Shutoff Valve) can result in low / slow water production as this tool will result in improper tank packaging. In general, to check for damage to the ASOV, you should follow the step-by-step instructions given in (What Can Cause Low / Slow Water Production?).
The black drain hose can become clogged if water flows out of the air-gap faucet vent. Before you start thinking, make sure your blood sample is not blocked and that you have a blood flow restrictor installed.
Step 1. Move away from the incoming water to reach the system.
Step 3 – Place a towel or bowl under the drain hose to collect excess water and disconnect the empty black hose from the drain connection.
Step 4 – Clean it with brushes or a hanger.
Step 4 – Check the installation of the drain and make sure it is in the correct position and orientation. The drain connection must be at least more than 1 ½ ”above the nut on the elbow or P-Trap obtained from the waste disposal system for excellent drainage.
Step a – Reinstall the drain tube to simplify installation.
Step b – Replace the previous drain hose with a new one so that there is no water in it. The drain hole should always point towards the tap if the black adapter tube runs straight.
Step c – Rotate the drain hose or feed hose so that the drain points correctly to the tap.
Step 5. Replace the black 3/8 “drain line, making sure it goes” in “with the drain tube. It should be as short and DIRECT as possible on the new drain, offset from the tap for good drainage. This is a gravity fed line, and if the hose has kinks or indentations, the flush water will not flow properly into the drain area through the hole in the back with a new faucet. If necessary, you can use any food grade lubricant (such as olive oil), water-soluble lubricant (such as KY Jelly ® ), or all water-based lubricants.
BBe careful with petroleum based lubricants (such as ® Vaseline) MUST NOT BE USED as they may be damaged.
You can bypass the air gap on any of the Watts Premiers air gap valves. Before starting to bypass the air gap, you must check the breathing oxygen pressure in your cylinder and ensure that the person’s respiratory system is working properly. Follow my step by step guide in (What Can Cause Low / Slow Water Production?).
Note. Installation must comply with all national and local home installation codes. Due to these changes, it is the owner’s responsibility to actually comply with these rules.
