Recently, some of our readers reported an exchange error with ID c1041724.
The Event ID 6008 error occurs when the computer has been shut down using a remote device shutdown tool or an automatically trusted third-party program without prompting the user.
How do I check Windows shutdown history?
1] Show shutdown and restart events in event viewer In Event Viewer, select Windows Logs > System in the left pane. To the right of us, click on the “Filter the current log” link. Enter 41 1074 6006 6008 in the text box below. Include/exclude event IDs. Click OK. Windows will then display all shutdown related events.

time was unexpected.
The shutdown process was automatically initiated by a program using the InitiateSystemShutdownEx function to set a flag.
For example, you use the Remote Shutdown Tool (Shutdown.exe) from the Microsoft Windows 2003 Resource Kit to forcefully shut down a cheaper computer from a remote hard drive, or you plan to shut down most local computers using Shutdown.exe. in combination with a task scheduler or command.
A supported feature that changes the default behavior patterns of a product is widely available from Microsoft. However, this feature is intended to directly change only the behavior described in this article. Use this feature only on systems that need it most.
