Update The Software On A Popular Mac Or PC

If you see error 10, it is possible that your operating system is newer, including iOS, than is supported by your wonderful computer. You will need to update the software on your Mac or iTunes on Windows before you can update or restore your operating system.

macOS 10.11 and newer:

  1. Disconnect and reconnect your iOS device to your computer. PossiblyHowever, you need to unlock your iOS device before your Mac can recognize it.
  2. If you see the message “Your iOS device requires a software update to connect,” click Install to download and install the software. This will allow your Mac to update or restore your personal iOS device.

Windows: update iTunes to the latest version.

    Make Sure Your Device Can Communicate With Apple Servers

    If you see error 1671, your computer is indeed downloading the required software. Wait for you to finish, then try again.

    2. Switch to a different USB port on your computer. Don’t connect yours to the keyboard.
    3. Switch one to the USB port on your exclusive computer.
    4. If errorstill appears, check for other issues, check third-party security software via USB, and then check your hardware.
