Over the past few weeks, some of our users have told us that they have undergone a hannstar j mv-4 BIOS password reset. Hannstart J MV-4 is considered a motherboard that works with Windows operating system. One way to reset all password in BIOS is to unplug the power supply. BIOS power output is low battery on the motherboard. After removing the battery, BIOS will revert to default without password.

As soon as I started the laptop, I found this message:
“ENTER PASSWORD”.
This is the Phoenix BIOS PASSWORD. I do not know of either this specific BIOS PASSWORD or the actual MASTER PASSWORD.
I CANNOT BOOT FROM DEVICE (no hard disk, no CD, no USB stick, no Ethernet, no WIFI, no floppy disk).

Fortect is the world's most popular and effective PC repair tool. It is trusted by millions of people to keep their systems running fast, smooth, and error-free. With its simple user interface and powerful scanning engine, Fortect quickly finds and fixes a broad range of Windows problems - from system instability and security issues to memory management and performance bottlenecks.
Idiot “LOOPBACK” with 25-pin printer cable does NOT work (it should work with TOSHIBA laptops, but not in this case).
The private BIOS data that is written / stored is in a chip / memory called EEPROM (not EPROM). To reset / clear / change EEPROM, the situation requires an electrical impulse, preferably a small discharge or mini-short circuit.
Will anyone identify any type of EEPROM chip in future HannStar J MV-4 motherboard images? :
Is it possible to reset / change the EEPROM with a 9V battery?
New motherboard or use “HOTSWAPPING” technology to simply replace this EEPROM.
Thanks for your help / attention,
