Select the file according to your McAfee AV version.
Create a temporary directory on your hard drive. A new folder on someone’s desk would be perfect.
Download the temp directory XDAT file from our website.
Double click the XDAT file to start the update.
Follow the instructions in the wizard windows.
The installer should then do the following:
Unload McAfee resident software and stop using the current DAT files.
Copies the new DAT files to the appropriate directories on the device.
Restarts software required to continue scanning with new DAT files.
