Windows Diary

On my Windows 7 Pro SP1, I recently tried to connect to a completely local NAS. To do the opposite, I first needed to activate the workstation products and services. Then I realized that the workstation is based on the SMB 1.x MiniDirector low-level service, which again did not work. It took me a long time to figure out how to activate it, there is a description in this MS knowledgebase: article https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/2696547/how-to-detect- enable- and – about disable-smbv1-smbv2-and-smbv3-in-windows. Anyway, I had to do it main command:

 sc.exe config depends on lanmanworkstation = bowser / mrxsmb10 / mrxsmb20 / nsisc.exe mrxsmb10 config start = auto

Unfortunately, when I restart my program, the SMB 1.x MiniDirector service is not considered to be running. more and I need to manually enable it again. In other words, then it looks like Windows 7 is ignoring one of our second commands where I run the function on Auto. I didn’t find all useful information on the net. Anybody else
