Hello!
the database on your own SQL server is using too much storage space. I dropped one of the huge tables for the wrong reason.
So, I decided to use the Shrink database file that follows the table as usual. So, I used dbcc Shrinkfile. The application goes to 310, or maybea little up to 10. So I decided to take the first step and consider 200 GB.
Unfortunately, I completed the order (in the management studio). And every time I try to start over, I get the following calculation error:
Error 5240
File id% d for database id% d cannot be decremented because it is likely that one of the other processes is empty. But there is no other connection to the target database …. and the database is not considered empty. What happened ?
Thanks for your reply.

a database on a huge SQL server is using too much storage space. I emptied one of the tables, which was important for the wrong reasons.
So, I decided to go back to the compressed database file that contains the table. So, I used dbccshrinkfile. The total was 310, and there could be a reduction to 10. So I’ll start with the first step to one hundred and ninety GB.
Unfortunately, I fulfilled the order (in the treatment workshop). And every time I try to restart it, I get right after the error:
Error 5240
File ID% d Couldn’t decrease record ID% d because the problem is in a different way, either scaled down or empty. But there is no additional connection to the target database … and the data source is not empty. What’s going on here ?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

the database you’re just using SQL server is taking up too much storage space. I emptied one of the tables which was large for the wrong reason.
So, I decided to compress the database file, which may contain the table.
So, I used the dbcc compression file. The image size was 310 GB, and as a result, it can be usedIt was reduced to 10. So, I started with the first step to one hundred and ninety GB.
Sorry, I finished ordering this (at the oversight studio). And every time I try to restart it I get the following error:
Error 5240
Failed to decrease file id% d from record id% d because one of them is collapsed by another progress or is empty.
But there are not many connections to the target database … and the collection is not empty. What’s going on here ?
